‘Amanda with a camera’ is Amanda Stockley, a London based photographer, camera operator and avid baker.
I enjoying cooking food from around the world, but my greatest love is photography. Having worked on several epicurean, travel television shows as a camera operator I came to develop a keen interest in food photography.
The move into still photography was a natural one as although I initially chose to pursue a career in cinematography and gained a degree in Film Production at the Arts Institute, Bournemouth, I always maintained a passion for photography.
I continue to work as a camera operator, most recently I was shooting with Rampage Studios and the Pizza Pilgrims in Italy. However the majority of my time is now dedicated to building up my portfolio, while developing my digital processing and retouching skills.
As well as having camera operating credits on TV shows for the Travel Channel and Australian Network SBS, my photography has appeared in Delicious Magazine and The Kensington Magazine. I have also worked with gluten free bakery producers B-Tempted on a range of PR and website images.
